Oven Toasted Garlic Bread

1 loaf of La Brea Bakery Antipasto Roasted Garlic Bread
1 stick unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 head of garlic (to roast)
1 t. chopped Italian parsley
Olive oil
Sea salt (to taste)

To roast the garlic: Preheat oven to 325° F. Cut the garlic head in half so that each half has a flat face. Toss in the olive oil to coat. Roast the garlic on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes (or until tender) and let cool. Remove 4 cloves of roasted garlic from the head. If using the roasted garlic bread, you can omit the roasted garlic.

For the garlic bread: Combine the garlic cloves, unsalted butter, parsley and salt. Slice the entire loaf of bread in half, lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture on the interior of each half. Wrap each side individually in aluminum foil. Place back in the oven for 15 minutes (or until desired doneness is achieved). Slice into ½-inch pieces and serve. Makes approximately 20 servings.

Variation: Top the garlic butter mixture with grated parmesan cheese and bake without the foil until the cheese has browned.
