Breakfast Sandwich With Maple Bacon Glaze


Kickoff game day the right way - with a maple-bacon breakfast sandwich. You need the calories and the carbs for the day ahead…trust us. 


  • 1 Ciabatta Roll (3oz square)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 slices bacon fully cooked
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup arugula
  • 1 Tsp shallot finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • ½  Tsp butter



Toast inside of Ciabatta roll.

Sautee shallots in butter until soft.  Roughly chop one piece of bacon and add to to shallots in skillet.  Add maple syrup, some water and combine to coat all. Spoon mixture over the top half of the Ciabatta roll and bruch to evenly cover the full surface. Set aside.

Set a skillet over medium heat, add butter and cook egg sunny side up. To make the sandwich,  add cheese to the bottom bun, then top with arugula and bacon.  Please cooked egg on top and finish with top Ciabatta bun. Serve.
