This build-your-own pizza bar is a fun way to gather friends to create delicious crostinis. Use the pizza ingredients listed here as inspiration for your next party.
Ingredients
- 2 loaves La Brea Bakery Take & Bake Tuscan Loaf
- ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup banana peppers
- ½ cup basil
- ⅓ cup black olives, sliced
- 2 tablespoons dried oregano leaves
- 6 ounces pepperoni, sliced
- 6 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup roasted garlic cloves
- 1 green pepper, sliced (raw and/or cooked)
- 4 ounces button mushrooms, sliced (raw and/or cooked)
- 1 small red onion, sliced (raw and/or cooked)
Preparation
- Prepare bread according to package directions; let cool 10 minutes.
- Adjust oven temperature to 400°F. Slice loaf in half lengthwise, then slice crosswise into ½-inch thick pieces.
- Place bread slices on rimmed baking sheets, lightly brushing both sides with olive oil.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until crisp, turning once.
- Arrange crostini, pizza sauce, cheese and desired toppings on large board or platter, and let guests assemble their own crostini.
