Ingredients
- 2 La Brea Bakery baguettes slices into four 7-inch pieces
- 1 1/2 sticks softened, unsalted butter
- 6 oz. of an imported prosciutto, thinly sliced into 24 slices
For scallion oil:
- 1/3 cup chopped scallion and 1/3 cup chopped Italian parsley leaves (blend together)
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- Kosher salt to taste (blend with parsley and scallion
Preparation
To assemble the sandwiches:
Smear 2-3 tbsp. of butter over the bottom half of each baguette piece. Spoon 1-2 tbsp. of scallion oil over the butter. Place about 6 slices of rumpled prosciutto on top. Put the top half of the baguette over the prosciutto, and gently squeeze the sandwich together with your ringers before taking the first bite. Enjoy!
