Start your day off right with this delicious French toast.
Ingredients
              - 1 La Brea Bakery French Baguette, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
 - 6 eggs
 - 1 ½ cups half and half
 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
 - 2 tablespoons honey
 - 1 teaspoon nutmeg
 - Salt, to taste
 - 2 tablespoons butter
 - Maple syrup, to taste
 - Powdered sugar, to taste (optional)
 
Preparation
              - Combine eggs, half and half, vanilla extract, honey, nutmeg, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
 - Heat pan to medium and add butter.
 - Dip bread slices into egg mixture for 30 seconds each side. Shake off excess and place in heated pan. Cook bread until both sides are golden brown (2 to 3 minutes each side). Remove and top with syrup and powdered sugar.
